JD/MBA Program

by famousgirl149 » Tue Apr 28, 2009 12:10 pm
If i am interested in going in possible corporate law or even just advancing myself in the corporate world...would a combination JD/MBA give me a better edge in the competition or is it a waste of time and money?

Dear famousgirl149,

Simply having a degree will never give you the edge that the right experience will. However, the right degree program can give you access to the first position on your desired career path. Depending on what you want to do, the JD/MBA might be the best course of action for you. To really excel in corporate law, then a JD/MBA will give you the best education for that career path. I think you need to decide what you want to do first and then make a determination on what degree program makes the most sense.

Good luck,
Lisa
