James Joyce wrote the novel Ulysses through the teens and published it in 1922, although in 1906, when he was finishing the short story collection Dubliners, he had considered the addition of another story about the canvasser Bloom, who was Jewish and who later was the title Ulysses character.

(A) he had considered the addition of another story about the canvasser Bloom, who was Jewish and who later was the title Ulysses character.

(B) he had been considering that he add an additional extra story, the Jewish canvasser Bloom, and to later make him the Ulysses' title character.

(C) considering the inclusion of the story of Bloom, the Jewish canvasser who would become the Ulysses title character later

(D) he considered including another story about the Jewish canvasser Bloom, who later would be the title character of the Ulysses

Now, this is a literary piece with a different approach on presentation of its question. We must highlight the most suitable option and why it is.

Option A - INCORRECT.
This is a wrong approach to solving questions. You obviously should avoid writing back the question in form answer when there's clearly no observation difference. Well, maybe you will point out one to me!.

Option B - INCORRECT.
This is obviously an incorrect expression which is not in the interest of modern day linguistic expression. Verbosity killed this expression as much as tautology did. ''Additional and extra'' should have served the same purpose here.

Option C - INCORRECT.
Here, there are two parts already. A main clause and a subordinate one. The subordinate clause being placed before the main clause here show a major disconnect between the two bodies of statement. It changed the meaning of the statement.

Option D - CORRECT.
This gives a perfect description of what the whole passage was about. It conveyed the message of the author more appropriately and simpler. It is thus the most CORRECT so far.

Option E - INCORRECT.
Here, we have the same grammatical problem. The author has personalized ''Jewish canvasser Bloom'' in such a way that it shows it is the owner of the story. It shows it has own story but it is not, it is consistent with the aim of the author in the original content.
