1. Have you really been studying for 1 year

2. What have you been studying

3. Why do you think there is no improvement

4. What areas do you think are holding you back

If you can give some idea then maybe we can help give you some clarity into the problem.

Also you will have to be very clear in writing here. Your writing is very "Indian". Try to articulate it in a way others can understand

Hi arun sir,
i am from delhi
doing Gmat prep from last july 2012
but i am still struggling with verbal portion

my main problem that i could not comprehend well

it took long time to understand RC and many times i understood opposite logic which present in verbal RC passage

another problem - many times i did not meaning of SC , what sentence wants me to understand

IIIrd problem - CR , i could not get wording proper

what i need - is there any set pattern guide for GMAT specially i observed NOT Like that , Nonetheless, IS most strenthen the author assumption

these few type wording is really killing to me and i trapped every time

Have you gone over the Foundation/fundamental books? If studying for the three specific types (SC, CR & RC) is not producing meaningful results, then you may need to step back, buy a good grammar book and start going over the basics, that should in theory help you improve your Sentence correction, CR & RC ( an improved "basic" grasp of English should translate to smoother understanding of the Question stem, and passage). You should also look to read good English, from journals, books, business publications etc to develop the habbit of reading heavy material. Reading well written literature will also assist you in spotting grammar errors when you are faced with Sentence correction.

I think you need to take a step back and look at how you can improve your English instead of GMAT Verbal. I think you can start by reading some good books such as those written by Malcolm Gladwell. Along with it, pick up a good quality magazine - my personal recommendation is the "Economist". Also if you have a desk-job then you might want to spend some time surfing the net for good quality articles from say HBR or Wall Street Journal (the free section! )

Right now I think the problem is you are not able to "process" all the information in the given time. Maybe with a few months practice with the above AND NOT thinking about the GMAT, you can revisit the passages you read and ask yourself if you have improved.

I really think the best option is to take a step back.

As other people suggested before me you should really take a step back and learn more grammer. I don't want to offend you or anything BUT when I read your post I saw that you can't express yourself well in English, so how do you expect to handle heavy written material from the GMAT?

You need to do two things:
Buy a good grammer book (it will help you with Sentence correction)
Read,read,read (Journals, Books or other reputable publications) this will help you get used to heavy written material that you will encounter on the GMAT.

Hope this helps and I'm sure if you put the effort, you'll get the results you want

Dear sirs
my main problem lies when i could not understand the question stem.
and in most of the cases example CR ,RC i did not understand few particular words so i choose
entire opposite sense

here are few words which become unclear or i do not know their meaning so i interpret them
reverse and found my answer choice THE ONE WHICH IS ABSURD

how to improve LOGICAL understanding for difficult meanings ?

Make, reading good quality material a habit. 30 minutes every day to start off with should do you well. Not only would it help you in grammar and RC it would also help you expand your vocabulary which have stated as one of your weaknesses.

As suggested, you should start reading publications such as ECONOMIST, Wall street Journal, National Geographic Magazine etc. You can search around for Archived old editions online. GMATCLUB has a Grammar book that is very good. MGMAT also has a fundamentals book. The former is free while the latter is paid. You may also wish to explore some coaching.
