hi,

please can you help below?

I didn't get it

a brush salesman earns 50 dollars salary each month plus 10 % commission on the value of his sales
If he earned 200 dollars last months what was the total value of his sales?

thks,

Lets say total sales = S

Total salary = 50+10% of S
Total salary for last month = 200
200 = 50+( 10/100 )*S
150 = S/10
S = 1500 (total value of sales) does this sound correct?

This is easier one....i guess...
earned 200 out of whicn 50 is salaray
now 150 is commission (10%)
so 150 is 10% of 1500
