Hey,
I was really serious for ISB-R1 and was scoring 710-740 in the mocks but landed up with a 650. Took a retest but again scored a lowly 660(still trying to figure out why). I know its next to impossible with this GMAT score and am not even sure if i should apply.
My profile:
I am a Chartered Accountant and have graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC)
Class X - 87%
Class XII - 93%
B.Com(H) - 64%
GMAT - 660 (QA49, VA32)
Work Ex - Around 2 yrs 2 months at the time of application.
1 Year - Trainee at a top MNC Bank in its Investment Banking Division (Front end)
6 months - A family owned venture in Real Estate (small)
8 months - Working presently in another MNC in its Financial Advisory Division.
(The work-ex has been mentioned in chronological order)
Extra Curricular Activities:
Was very active in college and school.
-Placement Committee for 3 yrs in college. Co-convenor in final year.
-As Chief Editor of Annual Business Magazine, led the whole process from fund raising to execution.
-Part of various Societies in college, VP of one of them.
-Involved with the College Students Union as a Secretary.
-Actively involved in Community Service during school(through Rotary Club)
-A 5 year diploma course in fine arts.
Hobbyist photographer.
Is there still any chance? I don't have any hopes.
Thanks
