I'm trying to decide if there is any kind of benefit to taking the GMAT on a weekday instead of a weekend. The way I look at it, if your score (percentile) is derived from how many people took the test on your test day and how they scored, I would think the less people taking it, the better my chances are of doing well. I would think most people would take it on Saturday, as its a day when most people don't work. Is there any benefit here or am I crazy?
*Is this true? That you are compared against those who take it the same day? What if you take the test at 8:00 AM vs. 4:00 pm?
A smaller sample size could be skewed either way. Say a fewer number of people took it, but all were high achievers. That would hurt you. Of course the converse is true, but I would think enough people are taking it every day that it averages out.
