What's the source of the question?

Another huge issue is the use of "not only" while missing "but also"... on the GMAT, where you find one part of the construction you pretty much always also find the other.

IMO B.......But I agree with Stuart ful in that the question seems incorrect.

Not only x but also y is the correct usage.

@Stuart, can u help explain, which is the correct usage on GMAT, "Skills.... in", "Skill... to" or "Skills...for"

Any of the three could be correct, each would be used for a different purpose.

For example:

Bob has skills that we haven't seen yet.

Bob has the skill to perform the operation successfully.

It takes great skills to be a professional athlete.

In GMAT ,gerund is preferred.Infinitives come second in the priority...

and stuart i encountered the issue of "not only... but" in a kaplan mock as well

as of my understanding it should be 'not only x.. but also y'

Are you sure answer is "D"? To me "at" before "not only" in option D sounds odd..."at" should be after "not only" for parallel construction...
