If n and k are integers and (-2) n ^ 5 > 0, is k ^ 37 < 0?

(1) (n k) ^ z > 0, where z is an integer that is not divisible by two

(2) k < n

Is possible only when n is –ve --- #A

1) (nk)^z>0


z is an integer not that is not divisible by two. Means, z is odd. Z can’t be 0 because 0/2 = 0 - divisible.

Hence, k has to negative.

-ve ^ 37 = -ve <0.
Sufficient.

2) K<n < 0 - From #A

IMO D.
