Hi,
I found out from the TOEFL website that we are required to take TOEFL atleast 2-3 months before the application deadlines.
I am planning on applying for Columbia (rolling admissions), UCLA Anderson (first deadline Oct 20 2010) and USC Marshall (Deadline Nov 1 2010). Is it too late to write TOEFL now if I want to make it to these deadlines?

It seems a bit far fetched that TOEFL is required to be written so early on.

Please give me your inputs so that I can work accordingly.

I wouldn't say that it is too late, but of course, it always depends on the university and their deadlines. So you should contact the university directly. But it is true that you have to plan ahead, especially if you are a foreign student.

You get your official score results two weeks after you take your test. You should be fine with taking it right now, if you can find a test center! :)
