Hi!
I have been studying for GMAT for above a month now. I feel that I will need another month and a half to be ready for my exam. At this rate, I might be able to take the GMAT on 15th Oct 2017. Do you think it will be too late by then, to apply for admissions of fall 2018 in Canada and US?

Hi Mohit:

You should apply when you are ready. You are ready when you have all the components in your application in a competitive way. The admissions season for International candidates is open till Jan/Feb depending on the school deadlines. In order to put in a quality application, you need cross the initial hurdle of good GMAT. Post which you need to yourself 2-3 months for thought through essays, crisp resume and well drafted recommendations (in addition do make time for video essays and presentations if any). Some candidates who are good at multi-tasking do even start the application process in parallel with the GMAT.
