Looking at the list of values that satisfy statement 1: 3, 9, 15, 21...
When 3 is divided by 6, the result is 0 R3.
When 9 is divided by 6, the result is 1 R3.
When 15 is divided by 6, the result is 2 R3.
Since R=3 in every case -- including when x=3 -- sufficient.
