Is 13 a factor of M?
a) 117 M is the square of an integer
b) M/117 is the square of an integer

1. 117 =13x3^2. For 117M to be a square, M must have a 13 in it! sufficient

2.M must have 117 as a factor, so 13 is a factor. sufficient.
