So my applications have gone in for US schools and I'm awaiting their decisions, but this has sparked the difficult conversation with my girlfriend about what happens to her if I get in. I'd like to take her with me but I don't know how feasible this is as an international student.

Has anyone already done any research into this and know whether there is a relevant visa, or if the schools provide support etc?

We're both British and have considered whether she can get work out there but think it will be difficult to prove she is more suited to a job than any US citizen (as I believe may be a requirement?).
