International Business or Marketing?? Advice needed

Figure out where you wish to apply

I am interested in marketing and international business. As I research information about career possibilities with a MBA in international business, I see that those with a MBA in the field have jobs in finance, marketing, etc...

So my question is which program would be more beneficial? Marketing or International Business?

I got my bachelors in communication. I am afraid that it would be harder to get into international business with a general marketing MBA? What are your thoughts?

Whichever one you would do better in. The major is far less important than the grades. Both can be good though.

Both the jobs respectable. So you can take anyone among of these. Marketing could have been more profitable in the world of internet. If you can select the best strategy.

MBA in Marketing
"¢ The degree grooms you for management and entrepreneurship roles with knowledge regarding analytics, strategy, finance, brand management, and consumer behavior among other subjects.
"¢ A student with the degree can acquire lucrative positions in the above specializations.

MBA in International Business
"¢ Specifically designed for dealing with the global economy and a multicultural market.
"¢ The same specializations of finance, human resources, and strategizing are dealt with but at a global scale. Foreign exchange, export-import, and e-commerce are the other areas.
"¢ Immensely helpful for those who wish to work in other countries or in MNCs.
"¢ With an ability to manage in a multicultural platform, you gear up for a global leadership role.
"¢ With constantly changing face of foreign trade policies and finances, new avenues are emerging for employment in the field.
"¢ Even with a modest start, the upward climb follows soon with several international placement opportunities.

Hope this helps you decide better.
