If a and b are odd integers such that a - b > 7, what is the smallest possible positive difference between a and an even number less than b ?

If b is 3, a is 11 or 13 or 15 ...
An even # immediately less than a could be 10. The difference here is 7.
Having said that, I am not sure if the question is worded correctly ... It sound a little 'odd', should I say ;-D
