I just took my first mock GMATPrep online test.(of the two provided in mba.com)
Breakup:
Quant 50 (which is prety ok..and will improve eventually with practice)
Verbal 27
SC (4 incorrect, 3 of which were related to idioms)
CR (4 incorrect, haven't analyzed it yet..)
RC (8 incorrect, 2 purpose of the paragraph questions, 3 INFERENCE and the rest details questions..)!
I felt the RCs went quite well but ended up screwing it.
Time management doesn't seem to be much of a problem because i was left with 2-3 minutes spare time having had completed the verbal section. My approach towards RCs is to read the comprehension thoroughly first, make little notes and i don't really wish to change the approach as it suits me.
I plan to buy The Reading Comprehension Guide and follow it religiously.
What apart from it should i DO or READ to better the RC.(Like the GMAT RCs are crammed up with much more information in the same space as compared to journals such as Economist etc.) What exactly should i read.

I plan to take my GMAT within 2 months but can easily devote around 5-6 hours a day studying so any amount of hard work is fine with me.
