having trouble with these specifically. 50% hit rate on the harder questions + over 2 minute time consumption. anybody have tips on these? (i've looked at powerscore+ mgmat+princeton + kaplan guides).

I am no better at verbal as well. However this is what I believe and am following:

1. Stick to one book. Power score is good enough. Do not just get into a mad rush of collecting material.(Learnt the hard way in previous gmat). You will be wasting time by going over different books/guides.

2. Read the power score again.

3. Do 20 problems with out time limit. Take your time as much as you want. Then do 20 under time constraint.

good suggestion by Dinesh.

Let me write again in my term

1. PowerScore Bible is good enough to crack the GMAT CR.

2. Initially for 10-15-20 days, just focus on accuracy, techniques, how to avoid wrong choices, and how to understand the problem in one reading.

once you are comfortable with these things, then shift your focus to timing.
Actually you will feel that the timing is improved automatically.

Remember One main reason of the high time is : you are unable to rule out the wrong choices.
