Which of the following ineq. Has a solution set that, when graphed on the number line, is a single segment of finite length?
"¢ x^4 >= 1
"¢ x^3 <= 27
"¢ x^2 >= 16
"¢ 2<= |X| <= 5
"¢ 2<= (3x+4) <=6

Besides a systematic way to solve the above problem,

Can someone tell an easy way to solve non-linear inequations, meaning-shortcuts to finding their solution set.

Also for the absolute value equations/inequations.

Is the answer E?

I'm not an expert.. but with A,B, and C. X^4 x^3 and X^2 equations are either parabolas or half up/ half down parabolas (i don't remember what they are called). D says X is between 2 and 5 inclusive. Meaning that it can be a line that is a perpendicular bisector to the X axis extending infinite up and down. So process of elimination its is E?
