If x and y are integers, what is the value of x + y ?

690 < x < y < 696

692 < x < y < 695

The solution is B, could anybody explain how you come to this conclusion?

1) x can take any one of the values: 691, 692, 693, 694
y can take any one of 692, 693, 694, 695
x+y will vary accordingly
no unique value for x+y, not sufficient

2) x can only take 693 and y can take 694 (only 2 numbers between 692 and 695 and given that x<y)
=>gives unique value for x+y (693+694)
sufficient,
hence B
