Of the five answer choices eliminate A, B, C as the values of x are not limited on one side, hence not finite; x can extend to the positive (right) or negative (left) sides.

Test D.

2=<|x|=<5
{ 2=<-x and x=<-2
{ 2=<x

{ x=<5
{-x=<5, x=>-5

From this we have two segments: 2=<|x|=<5 and -5=<|x|=<-2. Eliminate D.

Test E if you like

2=<3x+4=<6, -2=<3x=<2 this is finite line. Correct answer E.
My knowledge frontiers came to evolve the GMATPill's methods - the credited study means to boost the Verbal competence. I really like their videos, especially for RC, CR and SC. You do check their study methods at https://www.gmatpill.com
