(1) Sqrt(x)> y

(2) x^3 > y


OA C Please explain your answers if you any method other than plugging numbers

Are you sure it's not A?

sqrt(x) > y ---> square both sides to get x > y^2. Sufficient to deduce that x > y, regardless if y is positive or negative.

yeah for instance because we dunno know whether x and Y are fractions or integers

for instance
X=4, sqrt(x) =2 y =1
x =1/4 sqrt(y) =1/2 y =1/3

I think plugging numbers is the fastest and easiest method. You just have to remember to substitute with "weird number " also that being fractions, negative numbers, 0 and 1.
