When we use "more" while comparing two things, we should always use "than" instead of "as". So, answer choice A and D are out. Here, we have to maintain parallelism for "morphine" and "new compound". Use of "has" and "with" shows possession, which distorts parallelism. "that is ......... than morphine is" maintains the parallelism. Hence, E is the answer.
