In the early 1800s, seven planets were known, but perturbations in the orbit of Uranus, the seventh planet, suggesting the existence of a hypothetically eighth planet.

(B) suggesting the existence of a hypothetical

(C) to suggest the existence of a hypothetical

(D) suggested the existence of a hypothetical

(E) suggested the existence of a hypothetically
