OPTION A - INCORRECT
Being taught is incorrect as it means that the concept was taught in past and not in present.

OPTION B - INCORRECT
This also has the same reason with option A due to the use of "being taught". Moreover, the use of commas create a run-on. This, it is incorrect

OPTION C - CORRECT
This option has the best comparison that is flawless and the position of the punctuation mark is well placed. It 's therefore the correct answer,

OPTION D - INCORRECT
"Throughout the world" modifies schools. Meanwhile, "Throughout the world" should modify TEACH. Reason for it being incorrect.

OPTION E - INCORRECT
Correct comparison structure is AS IMPORTANT AS rather than AS IMPORTANT THAN. Moreover, "Throughout the world" incorrectly modifies "schools" instead it should modify "TEACH". It is therefore wrong.
