Given that \(x* y = xy -2 (x + y)\), we have

\(2 * (-3) = 2\times(-3) -2 (2-3)=-4\)

Correct answer: C

Solution:

2 * (-3) = 2(-3) - 2(2 + (-3)) = -6 - 2(-1) = -6 + 2 = -4

Answer: C
