If x doesn't equal to -y

If x doesn't equal to -y, is x-y/x+y > 1?

(1) x > 0

(2) y < 0

x!=-y

x-y/x+y>1?

stmt1,

x>0

No info about y.

insuff

stmt2,

y<0

No info about x.

Insuff

combining 1 and 2,

x>0 and y<0

x=2,y=-1

3/1=3

x-y/x+y>1

x=0.1,y=-0.2

0.3/-0.1=-3

x-y/x+y<1

Insuff

I agree it's C. Without knowing more about x and y, you can't tell whether x + y is larger or x - y is.
