$$5+8+12+15=3+4+x+x+3$$
$$40=10+2x$$
$$40-10=2x$$
$$\frac{30}{2}=\frac{2x}{2}$$
$$x=15$$

$$answer\ is\ Option\ B$$

We can create the equation:

5 + 8 + 12 + 15 = 3 + 4 + x + x + 3

40 = 10 + 2x

30 = 2x

15 = x

Answer: B
