If [x] is the greatest integer less than or equal to x, what is the value of [-1.6]+[3.4]+[2.7]?

A. 3
B. 4
C. 5
D. 6
E. 7

The OA is A.

I tried to solve this PS question as follows,

[-1.6] = -2
[3.4] = 3
[2.7] = 3

So, the expression is --> -2 + 3 + 3 = 4.

Where my mistake is? I don't understand it. Please, can anyone help? Thanks!

[2.7] = 2, not 3
