\(a-b = c \quad\text{or} \quad a-c = b\)

From statement 1:
\(c+6=a\)
\(6=a-c\)

Hence, \(b=6\). Sufficient \(\Large{\color{green}\checkmark}\)

From statement 2:
\(a=6\)
\(6-c=b\)
\(6=b+c\). Insufficient \(\Large{\color{red}\chi}\)
