Hello Stacy,

I recently gave my gmat and scored a 700 (Q-45 V-41).

I have over 3 1/2 years of work experience in various countries.
For the past 6 months I have been handling my family business- wholesalers in bicycles, India
1 1/2 years- PR company in India
1 year- Marketing Communications with an automobile oem manufacturer, France
6 months- Business development with an automobile manufacturer, Germany

I am looking at applying to IESE or ESADE in Spain. I having great difficulty in figuring out which is a better college in terms of the exposure provided, scholarship opportunities and job opportunities in Europe post the MBA.

Similarly I wanted to know about Nanyang Business School vs NUS Business School vs Hong Kong UST Business School. I am currently inclined towards NUS, no specific reasons other than good exposure. My concern is NUS is not really ranked anywhere (both Nanyang and HK are.)

I am currently looking at courses which give good exposure in marketing, general management and consulting.

Would really appreciate a reply.

Thanks a ton

Cheers,
Amit

Dear Amit,

I encourage you to visit our sticky on school selection for tips on how to determine which schools are the best fit for you. While reputation is important, it will not get you a job. Only you can secure you a job based on the effort you put into your search and how well you present yourself to employers. All of the schools you mention have good name recognition and reputations, so I think it comes down to which schools have the curriculum that will best prepare you for your desired career post-MBA. Likewise, which schools have the relationships in your desired post-MBA industry, both in terms of alumni and recruiting connections.

Good luck,
Lisa
