C is wrong because if Which refers to prices then "BOOSTS" should be plural not singular... so WRONG...

A vs B

B - it has many issues (IMO):
(1) who is stimulating the demand - unclear; In the original sentence, it is clear that IT (refering to THE SUBJECT OF PREVIOUS CLAUSE ie "IMPROVED EFFICIENCY IN CONVERTING TREES"). The main clause of B is passive and it does not give the logical doer of the action (ie of WILL BE STIMULATED)

(2) the use of BECAUSE OF changes the meaning further - this implies when INCREASING SUPPLY AND LOWERING PRICES will happen DEAMND WILL BE STIMULATED ON ITS OWN (note, sentence does not say that INCREASING SUPPLY AND LOWERING PRICES will stimulate demand

(3) use of WHICH BOOST (here WHICH could refer to COLLECTIVE NOUN " increasing supply and lowering prices", BUT the use of BOOST (simple present) suggests that ' increasing supply and lowering prices' IS BOOSTING CONSUMPTION AS A GENERAL PRACTICE (even at this point in time).

(4) The original sentence intends to say:
IT WILL STIMULATE DEMAND BY XX, THEREBY BOOSTING CONSUMPTION : it gives a casual relationship IMPROVED EFFICIENCY --> XX {increasing supply and lowering prices} --> STIMULATE DEMAND --> BOSSTING CONSUMPTION. B compltely changes the meaning.
