IDIOM : decide (on/that)

by sudipto » Mon Nov 10, 2008 2:27 am
I just learnt from Kaplan SC that "decided on" is incorrect - the correct idiom is "decided that" - however, I do recall quite a few instances where I saw the idiom "decided on" in magazine articles. Thoughts ?

Thanks,
Sudipto.

This is why I love (hate) Verbal questions!

Everything depends on the intended context / meaning of the sentence! :x
