The mass of the part of an iceberg above the sealevel is 1/8 to 1/7 of the mass of the entire iceberg.
What is the ratio between the mass of the part above the sea level and the mass of the part below
the sea level?
Answer is 1/7 to 1/6
I was not able to arrive at this answer..Please help

take the ratio of the lower limits and the upper limits
1/8th of iceberg above sea level=> 7/8 below sea level
1/7th of iceberg above sea level=>6/7 below sea level
ratio of above sea level to below sea level: (1/8)/(7/8) and (1/7)/(6/7)
=>1/7 and 1/6
1/8th of iceberg above sea level=> 7/8 below sea level
1/7th of iceberg above sea level=>6/7 below sea level
ratio of above sea level to below sea level: (1/8)/(7/8) and (1/7)/(6/7)
=>1/7 and 1/6
