Hi

Im in Bari Italy,20 years old.I would like to score 600 and will have 12mounths to get that score . [in italy gmat is relatively new ,so with low score you can enter in an excellent italian graduate program,if you have not this exam it's a lottery]
In terms of books and materials I am totally lost and confounded!!!!!In quant section I am good enough.......but in verbal honestly im near 0. Which all in one book is the best?
Kaplan GMAT Premier Program 2009 (book and cd) ?
Princeton Cracking the GMAT 2009 w/dvd?
Manhattan?
and which other books can help me ??????

Manhattan Sentence Correction Guide is ESSENTIAL!

It was very helpful for me in understanding the fundamentals.

If you have 12 months then you should start reading a good quality journal such as 'The Economist' to improve your reading comprehension.

12 months is probably too long to prep for the GMAT. You would be better served by keeping your prep to 3-4 months of serious studying/practice.

For critical reasoning, the PowerScore Critical Reasoning Bible is pretty solid. For sentence correction, the Manhattan book is essential.

You also might want to think about taking a formal prep class though a 600 should be attainable through self-study.

Lorenzo,

your english skills are seemingly not very developed. Therefore, I'd focus a lot in a good english class that would help you improve your english.
That should help you a lot in your verbal part.

thanks for good tips.....i agree,i MUST improve my english skills,actually i have to prepare 2 exams,but during this summer i want to study and study....probably an english class could be the best solution
