Hi candygal79,
This DS question is perfect for TESTing Values.
We're asked "Is 0 < A/B < 1?" This is a YES/NO question. We're not told anything about A and B.
Fact 1: AB > 1
If A=1, B=2 then A/B = 1/2 and the answer to the question is YES
If A=2, B=1 then A/B = 2 and the answer to the question is NO
Fact 1 is INSUFFICIENT
Fact 2: A - B < 1
If A=1, B=1/2 then A/B = 2 and the answer to the question is NO
If A=1, B=1.5 then A/B = .6666 and the answer to the question is YES
Fact 2 is INSUFFICIENT
Combined, we need values that fit BOTH Facts:
If A=1, B=1.5 then A/B = .6666 and the answer to the question is YES
If A=2, B=1.5 then A/B = 1.3333 and the answer to the question is NO
Combined, INSUFFICIENT
Final Answer: E
