I am throwing in the towel !

I have been preparing for the damn test for eight months, I finally decided to take the test recently “I wish I didn’t” I took a prep class, did all tests, and studied from all the best resources. My GMAT prep and PP range was from 580 to 630, the real test I did not reach close to that!! I can’t imagine studying again. I am throwing in the towel

hey buddy donn take any decision in a haste

just sit down and ponder
may be it will be helpful for u to discuss ur prep startegy with others
u may find the pitfalls to avoid or the mistakes u made

now get up ,roll ur sleeves and start working even harder+smarter than before!!

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment--but I hope you are not giving up on your MBA dreams!

Remember: the GMAT is only one factor out of several that MBA admissions folks consider when reviewing your application. Don't let one test foil your dreams!

And I hope you do reconsider taking the test...

... guys you should seriously think about responding to the thread i started long back in Verbal section about colloquial sayings :?

It's a colloquial phrase for 'giving up'--which I hope aosh will reconsider doing!

First of all, thanks for all you replies, I cant be blamed for thinking of giving up I gave in a lot of time and sacrifice for a “test” and still back to sqr1!! Just hate the fact that this will make me consider 3rd round to top schools, which is suicide I heard.

Dear you are here and posting your disappointment, it means that deep down you wanna beat the GMAT you just cant give that easily ! i know 8 MONTHS is a long period... but nevermind. start afresh... cooldude rightly suggested.

one question- how many times have you taken GMAT? real one?
