Hypotenuse of isoceles triangle

I have solved this before..wonder why I am gettin stuck now!

The permiter of an isoceles triangle is 16 + 16*sqroot 2. What is the hypotenuse of the traingle.

16 sqrt 2
16
8
4 sqrt 2

Two sides must be similar and ratio is 1:1:sqrt2 for isoceles triangle. Am just not able to wire them all together. Can someone please help?

In this Q I would like to back solve
Lets start with D
if 8 is the Hyp then the sides would be 4Sqrt 2
The perimeter becomes : 2*4Sqrt 2 + 8 = 8 + 8Sqrt 2 (this gives a clue that we must double the value of the Hyp (16 + 16Sqrt 2)
With Choice D
if Hyp - 16 then side is 8Sqrt 2
Hence perimeter = 2*8Sqrt 2 + 16 = 16Sqrt 2 + 16
