I am confused in the POE for B and D.
I Though 'However' is counter and 'Since' causes redundency when used with however so selected the B.

Not at all. However and since convey two different things.

However is used as a point of transition to say something which is opposite to what has been stated earlier.

Since plays the role of because, giving the reason why this other thing is different from the earlier one.

Exactly. Also note that "however" is an adverb, and cannot make its clause subordinate; without the subordinating conjunction "since", you are left with a comma splice/run-on sentence (which is very wrong).
