How well was I doing before I cancelled my scores?

When I took the test last Thursday I felt pretty good answering the quant section. A probability question popped up and don't know if that can say that I was on my way towards a 700 + or not. Does anyone know if that's true? When I got to the verbal section I just wasn't there ( wanted to do my practice test but my apartment complex acts really shady and I couldn't use the computer). I can't waste another $250 and whether or not I'm going to get into graduate school and JD requires this 700 to happen. So does anyone know whether or not I was on my way to a 700+ score?

A type of a question is not a factor that actually influences your score. What is really important is the difficulty level of a question. If you could not finish the test it is impossible to say whether you were close to 700. I would recommend that you simply take another test to check your current level. Also if you want to predict your score more precisely, take at least a few tests.

I finished the entire test and all of the quant was easy for me and even though I say easy I could have gotten a lot of them wrong. I can't spend another 250 dollars though. I also was trying to take some practice test before I took the actual test but the woman in my apartment wouldn't let me practice my tests.

Do you have a cybercafe where you pay per hour to surf the internet in your city/country? That could be an option.

There really is no way to know how you were doing. The distribution of questions is consistent across all test takers and so getting a probability question does not mean anything.

Why does you "JD require this to happen?" You are talking about law school right, when you say JD? So that would be the LSAT.

I wanted to do both get the MBA/JD and I am taking a course for the LSAT and reading books on my own. I might take the test again but will need to save another $250 for the test. I need a 700 and above to get into any school of my choice.

I just hope you can resolve your situation so that you are able to find time to study. Please take a full GMATPrep practice test and see where you would be!
