To find the number of 3's in 100!

we can use the below formula,

100/3+100/9+100/27+100/81[Take only the quotient]

=33+11+3+1=48

=3^48

Divide 100 by powers of 3 to get the exponent of 3 in 100!

100/3 = 33
100/9 = 11
100/27 = 3
100/81 = 1

Hence exponent of 3 = 33+11+3+1 = 48

If we need to find number of x's in a!.Divide a by powers of x upto the greatest power smaller than a.

For ex number of 2's in 6!

6/2+6/4=3+1=4


2^4
