How to reach goal of 640 in 1 month?

Expert replies

Hi all,

I have 1 more month to go... taking my exam on August 18th...

Quant is my weakest area and have been practicing... been scoring consistently above 37 mark but I have not hit above the 40 mark yet.

And as for Verbal - its my mother tongue, but I'm doing badly! Scoring between 23-33.

Overall, my scoring is in this range: 550 - 610

I have 1 month to go and am LOST !!!!! Please help... I feel like I don't have a clear study plan anymore and am just mindlessly doing a few practice tests and practice questions with no clear idea on how to improve Verbal and get higher in Quant.

Quant:
- What can I do to get higher than 40?

Verbal:
- I am really bad in CR... what's the best way to improve this?

Thanks for your expert advice guys, I'm really really lost and appreciate any helpful advice I can get. If you have a structure on what weeks I should be studying what, even better!

Hi celestia007,

First question for you, what have you studied so far? Since you still have a month to go and you're not hitting your target score, I suggest to go back and study more on theories before doing more practice questions.
