One needs bit of practice to identify, why an option is incorrect. However, the rules given in Manhattan SC are a good reference. I would suggest just go as per Manhattan SC schedule. The best thing i like about Manhattan SC is that you are trained to identify a particular issue. Be patient.

Also, use POE and 2/3 split often on SC questions.

PoE is process of elimination. It means you read individual choices and keep eliminating each one and then you are left with the best choice.

2/3 spilt is quite common in SC. 5 answer choices will have 2 options with almost similar stuff and 3 with similar stuff.

e.g see the OG11 question

The voluminous personal papers of Thomas Alva Edison reveal that his inventions typically sprang to life not in a flash of inspiration but evolved slowly from previous works.
(A) sprang to life not in a flash of inspiration but evolved slowly
(B) sprang to life not in a flash of inspiration but were slowly evolved
(C) did not spring to life in a flash of inspiration but evolved slowly
(D) did not spring to life in a flash of inspiration but had slowly evolved
(E) did not spring to life in a flash of inspiration but they were slowly evolved

A and B have sprang and C,D and E have did not spring.

Similarly, evolved slowly is in A and C, while slowly evolved is in B and D.

This is quite helpful in eliminating the wrong choices.

Try to observe PoE and 2/3 spilt while solving SC, it is very effective.
