How to improve the general knowledge of math?

I have hard days trying to remember all the basic math knowledge in order to solve problems in GMAT math. Can anyone help with providing a sort of GMAT questions math guide or a guide that would in some ways roughly explain the solutions to problems?

Choices

Carefully review the solutions provided by OG

Buy a remedial GMAT math guide: Kaplan offers something suitable, as does Princeton Review Kaplan GMAT Math Workbook

Buy or borrow 9th and 10th grade math textbooks (or the sort of math textbooks that are used in your country by 13-16 year olds)

Well I definitely consider acquiring some GMAT Math Workshop book, however having studied all the customer reviews at Amazon, I have seen that feedback to whatever edition of GMAT (Kaplan, Princeton etc.) is pretty so-so. None of the books receives a solid appreciation. So, without direct advertising of one particular book, which one would really be worth buying?

It would help if you took a diagnostic test to see exactly what area of math you're having trouble in.

That way, people could recommend a specific book to target those areas, and hence, save you money and time from having to buy and read stuff that you already know.

The book I recommended is fine for acquiring the basics, which seem to be what you are lacking.They are not for quant jocks. You could also look into the Manhattan GMAT series

That means I wont be able to crack 700+ questions on the actual GMAT test?
