How to get a realisitic idea that you are ready

Hello Everyone

Just wanted to check what's the best way to gauge how well you are prepared before the D-Day. I am taking the GMAT in another 20 days.

I am a senior working professional so don't get enough time to study after work hrs. I have just gone thru OG and taken some 6 practice tests from different sources- Veritas, Kaplan, Manhattan, Arco & GMAC. But my scores vary from 560 to 710 so kind of in doubt I am ready.

For the next 20 days, what tests & study should I concentrate on. Which practice tests are best? What's the optimum score range for well-preparedness? Also, is there a way to have AWA essays scored by someone online?

Hi PS,

You can post your essays on this message board under AWA and get feedback that way. In terms of being "ready," you'll ultimately have to make that call yourself. One way you'll be able to gauge your progress is to take the same practice tests more than once. I know students often reset the Powerpreps and re-take them. Pay careful attention to any questions you miss more than once - create an Error Log to hone in on "why" you miss certain questions.

Your level of scrutiny and review will always yield a better result than doing a certain number of questions. Good luck!
