depends on how you answer the rest. if you get all of the others wrong, then you cannot dream about a score of 50 in verbal. Remember that CAT is adaptive. getting first few questions correct does not guarentee a high score. your performance on all the questions matter. Check the site for more articles on this topic. but Kaplan book and Princeton verbal workout said that if our verbal is weak, try to get 10-15 first questions right because the first questions give more more points on the latter questions

Read the GMAT Uncovered by Manhattan GMAT. This book will answer your doubts. It has featured a whole chapter on this. I am sure this should help clear ur queries.
