Hi all,

After 2 months of studying, I finally mustered the courage to sit for a practice test !!

The fact that I was nervous to give a "practice" exam sounds pretty embarrassing I know. However, I have a history of panicking in the smallest of pressure situations and am here on this forum to gain some inspiration and to also get suggestions on how I should proceed from this point.

Please note that My GMAT is scheduled in Dec which gives me a good two months to practice !!

Coming back to my practice test, I gave a Princeton CAT3 yesterday and managed a modest 640 on my first test. I would like to know from all of you what my strategy should be from this point. I am pretty good with SC, but am just not able to conquer RC !! I have practiced a lot, read all the tips from Princeton/Kaplan/Manhattan but somehow nothing seems to be working My CR is just about ok, but I want to know which tests/books should I study from for CR, to bridge the gap between 640 and 700.

My quant is just above average and am extremely bad with probability/ permutation -combination problems. I just dont ever understand them :( I would like to know how important are these for the GMAT !
Can someone please suggest which quant problems I should solve for a 700 score?

I go through the beat the gmat forum everyday to read about the success stories of each person here on this forum. It really motivates me, but when it comes to giving even a practice test, my hands/feet get cold..I dont know how I am going to handle my anxiety on the test day. I would love to get suggestions from all of youll..

Is there a chance of improving from a mere 640 to a 700+ ??
