How to best use my Kaplan 800 book?

Expert replies

Hi

Last month, I completed Princeton and Kaplan premium guides. I also have taken my 1st Powerprep test and scored a low 590. :(

My target is to break into 700s and I now have to start doing OG11, 1000 SC/CR/RC/PS/DS sets, along with Kaplan 800 book. I will be taking minimum 6 Full length tests between now and 19th March(my Test day).
I am wondering how to best use the resources in a logical way so that I can improve my performance. I have below questions:

1->Should I first attempt to do all the difficult Kaplan 800 problems so as to enter OG11 with raised confidence or should I take up OG 11 first to have a fair idea of actual question difficulty level?

2-> During few tests I found that I have a accuracy rate of 70% in most of the tested areas. Should I not first invest more time in solving 1000 series and try to focus on my mistakes in order to improve my accuracy before I touch OG11 or Kaplan 800?

3-> Will solving all OG 11 question hinder my GMAT Prep tests as I read that some of the question in Powerprep tests appear from OG11?

I know these are a lot many queries in one post but this is the best way I could find to pen my quandary. :P

Experts!! Plz rescue me...

1.] I suggest to start OG11 first.
2.] I dont see any reason why you should delay on practicing Kaplan 800 or OG 11. These two books too improve your accuracy. & by the way to increase the accuracy you need to go back to basics brush up your math & grammar.

3.] it wont affect much.
