LPU offers B.Sc. (Airlines, Tourism and Hospitality) and BBA (Tourism and Hospitality). The duration of these two courses are 3 years including 6 semesters. Tourism management is the study of the latest trends and technology in the tourism industry and there are many programs available for tourism management education. B.Sc in Travel & Tourism Management trains students in leadership skills and knowledge and skills required for a successful career in tourism management. Eligibility Criteria of B.Sc. (Airlines, Tourism and Hospitality): Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) Step by step admission procedure for session 2023 is as follows- Step 1 - Signup -Register with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password) at https://admission.lpu.in/ Step 2- Apply for LPUNEST Deposit the Application Fee: - Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1000 (for Boys) and Rs. 500 (for Girls). - Printed LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1500 (for Boys) and Rs. 1000 (for Girls) -Fill the test application form. STEP 3- Book the Exam Slot and Appear -Book the slot (preferred date and time) to appear in the test. -Appear and qualify the test. Hi there , LPU offers B.Sc. (Airlines, Tourism and Hospitality) programme which is designed for the aspiring students who are looking for jobs in tourism/ hospitality and airlines sector. The structure of Program is industry oriented and students can expect managerial roles after few years of experience. The eligibility criteria is - Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST*. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.
The programme fees per semester is 80000 INR , without any scholarship . You can take admission from admission.lpu.in. The admission process of course is as follows-
Step 1 - Signup
Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password.
STEP 2 - Apply LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test)
Deposit the test fee. Fill the test application form.
STEP 3 - Book the Exam Slot and Appear -
Book the slot to appear in the LPUNEST Exam . Appear and qualify the exam.
STEP 4 - Result and Seat Allotment (Online Counselling)
Get your scorecard/ rank.
Fill the seat preference.
The student can give preferences which can vary in stream and programme.
In the first round of counselling, depending upon the seat availability and preferences filled by the candidates, a particular preference number would be allotted.
Download the allotment letter and proceed for admission step.
STEP 5 - Admission - Deposit initial payment of Rs.10000. After the successful realization of the payment:
A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
Upload the documents.
Apply for residential / mess / transportation / parking facility as per the requirement.
All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.
