How the mba gain is calculated ?

by AttitudeVsGmat » Tue Apr 17, 2007 1:49 am
Hi everybody,

I want to know the term which is called 'mba gain', it has something to do with our forgone salary. I saw it on business week where they calculated the rank of the university as % of mba gain.

Never heard of this term, but an interesting concept. Maybe it has something to do with how quickly you would be able to break even (with your post-MBA salary) against the opportunity cost of two years salary lost for doing b-school?
