Hi there, the fee for B Tech CSE at LPU is Rs 120000 per semester. The B Tech CSE program primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, program design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That are needed to build and solve problems using computers The curriculum taught here is of international standard. One gets to learn from foreign and industry experts. There are provisions of international credits in some programs where a student gets an opportunity to go abroad to study. LPU always designed the innovative pedagogy of the courses based on Industry standards only. Based on the same students are getting Industry ready from Day one. However, LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students based on good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement, etc. I recommend you visit the LPU website for more details of scholarships. LPU receives highest NAAC grade i.e. A++ with 3.68 crore on 4 point scale as per the Ministry of Education , Government of India .
In LPU , B.Tech.(Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme is offered which has the duration of 4 years . It gives its graduates a competitive edge through robust curriculum and hands-on learning in niche technologies to develop competence which caters to the requirements of the industry. It primarily deals with the development and designing of computer software and hardware processes with strong focus on algorithms, programming languages, program design etc. Its an industry immersion which enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry.
The eligibility criteria is -
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST*. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject. The programme fees per semester is 140000 INR , without any scholarship . It will be reduced up to some extent after qualifying test .
You need to qualify LPUNEST entrance test which you can prepare from nest.lpu.in. For submitting the application form , you need to pay some nominal charges i.e. - Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1000 (for Boys) and Rs. 500 (for Girls). Printed LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1500 (for Boys) and Rs. 1000 (for Girls) . After making payment you will be able to book slot of test .
